Sundry

New in town. Everyone could use a hand.

Sundry is a cozy 3D errand game. You've just moved into a cottage in the small town of Elderwick, and before the boxes are unpacked, your new neighbors have decided you're the one to ask when something needs doing. Carry the baker's bread, find a runaway cat, get a kite out of a tree, and slowly get to know everyone. Years ago the bridge over the river washed out, cutting Elderwick off from the village of Willowmere. Help fix it, and a whole second village opens up.

No timers, no combat, no way to fail. An errand you haven't gotten to just waits for you.

What's included:

• 12 in-game days and 64 errands: deliveries, fetches, chains that pass through three or four neighbors, and gathering trips into the hills and woods.
• 13 neighbors across two villages. Nine of them have somewhere to be now and then: the fountain, the lookout, the dock, or over the bridge.
• Each village in its own style: Elderwick's painted houses around a stone fountain, and Willowmere's thatched houses around a great willow, with log cabins by the lake and in the woods.
• Open country to explore: a lookout, an old oak, a stone well, a lake and a dock.
• 32 golden acorns hidden around the map. Find 16 and Pip, a local kid, gives you a leaf crown; find all 32 for a golden one. You wear them.
• Days that move from morning to evening as you work, with golden evening light and the lamps coming on. There's no clock.
• Carry up to three errands at once, with a compass for following the neighbors' directions.
• A calm, original fingerpicked music loop (press M to turn it off).
• Saves each night when you go to bed. Quit partway through a day and you pick up from that morning.
• About 1 to 1.5 hours to finish.

Controls: W/S walk, A/D turn, E to talk, look, take or hand over an errand, or sleep in your bed (the prompt on screen shows which), Esc menu, M music.

Windows download. Unzip it and run Sundry.exe, no launcher or account required. The game isn't code-signed, so the first time you run it, Windows may say it protected your PC from an unrecognized app. Click "More info", then "Run anyway".

Made by King Coding, a one-person studio working with an AI assistant. The AI wrote the code and the dialogue, and made the 3D models and the music by writing code that builds them. I shaped and approved all of it.
